More Than Just Training: What Really Changes When You Start Taking Care of Yourself

I’ve been working as a personal trainer for several years now, and there’s one thing that still makes this job so special to me: seeing how a person changes little by little.

And I’m not just talking about losing weight, building muscle or lifting heavier weights. Often, the most important changes are completely different: feeling stronger, becoming more confident, losing the fear of going to the gym or simply enjoying exercise for the first time and finally being consistent.

That’s exactly why I want to share some of the experiences of women I’ve had the pleasure of supporting along their journey.

Two years of training together

One of my clients has been training with me for two years now, both in group sessions and one-to-one training. I think her experience shows perfectly that real, lasting results take time and consistency:

“I’ve been training with Esther for two years now, both in group sessions and one-to-one training, and it has always been a positive experience for me and my body. Through training, I’ve not only become stronger and gained 9 kg, but my back has also become much more stable.Esther is not only an excellent trainer who always knows how to challenge you, but also an incredibly positive and caring person. I’m looking forward to many more years of training with her!”

For me, that’s exactly what good training should do: not only change the way you look, but also the way you feel and what your body is capable of.

Learning how to train properly

One of the things I care about most is good technique.

I don’t want someone to simply copy exercises. I want my clients to understand how to perform them correctly, learn more about their own bodies and gradually become more confident in the gym.

One of my girls describes it pretty well… including the sore muscles afterwards 😂:

“Esther is the best 🫶🏼 She has taught me so much, especially how to perform exercises correctly and how important good technique is. And after her workouts, the muscle soreness usually reminds us of her for a couple of days 😂 buuut we still always leave wanting to come back! 💪🏼”

When training stops feeling like a chore

I especially love Marga’s story because it reflects something I see all the time.

Some people believe they’re simply “not consistent” or that exercise just isn’t for them. But often, what they really need is to find a way of training that makes them feel comfortable, motivated and supported.

Marga describes it like this:

“I always struggled to stay consistent with exercise. Nothing really motivated me and eventually I would always give up. But thanks to Esther, her time, effort and dedication, everything has changed. Now I actually enjoy training, I have a routine and I can see myself improving day by day. I’m so happy and grateful for this change.Thank you, Esther, for all your effort and motivation! 🫶🏽”– Marga C.

And for me, seeing someone who used to give up on exercise now actually looking forward to training is one of those kinds of progress that means so much more than any number on the scale.

From barely exercising to actually wanting to train

Miquela had a similar experience:

“I want to thank Esther for her patience, dedication and motivation. In less than a year, I’ve noticed such a big improvement and, thanks to her, I’ve gone from barely exercising at all to actually looking forward to going to the gym.Even though the sessions are in a group, she is always paying attention to you, correcting your technique and guiding you throughout the workout.I’m so happy with everything I’ve achieved so far. Thank you, Esther! 😘😘”– Miquela M.

There’s one sentence in her experience that is especially important to me: “She is always paying attention to you.”

Because that’s exactly the difference I want to offer.

Why we created our Premium Memberships

Over time, I realised that many people need more than just access to a gym.

They need to know what to do when they walk through the door. They need a plan that fits their goals, someone to correct their technique, keep an eye on their progress and make adjustments when needed.

And sometimes, they simply need someone to give them that little extra push on the days when motivation isn’t quite at 100%.

That’s why we created our Premium Memberships at ProFit Club.

My goal is for you to never walk into the gym feeling lost. Instead, you’ll have a clear structure and a team supporting you throughout the entire process.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never trained before, if you’ve spent years starting and stopping, or if you already train regularly and simply want to take things to the next level.

You don’t need to know everything before you start. That’s what we’re here for. ❤️

Your body. Your plan. Your goals. Our team.
